HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?

We collect some of your data because you share it with us. This may, for instance, be information you enter into our contact form.

Our IT systems collect other data automatically or after you provide your consent when you visit our website. This data is primarily technical information (e.g. web browser, operating system, or the time the site was accessed).  This information is collected automatically when you access this website.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR DATA?

Some of the data is collected to guarantee the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user patterns.

WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE AS FAR AS YOUR INFORMATION IS CONCERNED?

You have the right to receive information at any time and free of charge about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to demand that your data be corrected or deleted. If you have provided consent to the processing of your data, you may withdraw this consent for future use at any time. Under certain circumstances, you also have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data.  Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

You may contact us at any time for this purpose as well as for other questions relating to data protection.

2. Hosting and Content Delivery Networks (CDN)

The host is used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online services by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f)  GDPR).

Our host will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill its performance obligations and to follow our instructions with respect to such data.

3. General information and mandatory information
DATA PROTECTION

The operators of this website and its pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in compliance with the statutory data protection regulations and this Data Protection Statement.

Whenever you use this website, various personal information is collected.  The term “personal data” refers to data that can be used to personally identify you. This Data Protection Statement explains what data we collect as well as the purposes we use this data for. It also explains how, and for what purpose this happens.

We hereby advise you that the transmission of data via the Internet (i.e. through e-mail communications) is prone to security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

RESPONSIBLE PARTY (REFERRED TO AS THE “CONTROLLER” IN THE GDPR)

The data processing controller for this website is:

Uwe Brück
Am Bleichanger 35
D-87600 Kaufbeuren

Telephone: +49 (0) 8341 998 95 55
E-Mail: mail@uwebrueck.de

The controller is the natural person or legal entity that single-handedly or jointly with others makes decisions as to the purposes of and resources for the processing of personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses, etc.).

STORAGE PERIOD

Unless a more specific storage period has been specified within this data protection statement, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing the data no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.

NOTE ON DATA TRANSFER TO THE USA AND OTHER THIRD COUNTRIES

Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure from a data protection perspective. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We hereby advise you that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security agencies without you as a data subject being able to take legal action against this. It therefore cannot be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) process, evaluate, and permanently store your data located on US servers for monitoring purposes.  We have no influence over these processing activities.

REVOCATION OF YOUR CONSENT TO DATA PROCESSING

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent.  You can revoke consent you have already given at any time.  The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation of data processing remains unaffected by the revocation.

RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE COLLECTION OF DATA IN SPECIAL CASES; RIGHT TO OBJECT TO DIRECT ADVERTISING (ART. 21 GDPR)

IN THE EVENT THAT DATA IS PROCESSED ON THE BASIS OF ART.    6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO AT ANY TIME OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA BASED ON GROUNDS ARISING FROM YOUR UNIQUE SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ANY PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS.  TO DETERMINE THE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH ANY PROCESSING OF DATA IS BASED, PLEASE CONSULT THIS DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT.  IF YOU LODGE AN OBJECTION, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA, UNLESS WE ARE IN A POSITION TO PRESENT COMPELLING, PROTECTION-WORTHY GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA THAT OUTWEIGH YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING IS THE ASSERTION, EXERCISING OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL ENTITLEMENTS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART.  21(1) GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS BEING PROCESSED IN ORDER TO ENGAGE IN DIRECT ADVERTISING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUCH ADVERTISING AT ANY TIME. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS AFFILIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT ADVERTISING.  IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT ADVERTISING PURPOSES (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(2) GDPR).

RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH THE COMPETENT SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects are entitled to lodge a complaint with a supervisory agency, in particular in the member state where they usually maintain their domicile, place of work, or at the place where the alleged violation occurred. The right to lodge a complaint exists irrespective of any other administrative or court proceedings available as legal recourses.

RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY

You have the right to demand that we hand over any data we automatically process on the basis of your consent or in order to fulfill a contract be handed over to you or a third party in a commonly used, machine readable format.  If you should demand the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will be done only if it is technically feasible.

SSL AND OR TLS ENCRYPTION

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as purchase orders or inquiries you submit to us as the website operator, this website uses either SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the change of the address line of the browser from “http://” to “https://” and also by the appearance of the lock icon in the browser line.

If the SSL or TLS encryption is activated, data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

INFORMATION, DELETION, AND CORRECTION

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free of charge information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data.  For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time.

RIGHT TO RESTRICTION OF PROCESSING

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You may contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data was/is conducted in an unlawful manner, you may request the restriction of the processing of your data instead of its deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of its deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, your rights and our rights will have to be weighed against each other. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data – apart from its storage – may only be used with your consent or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
